Thank you to all delegates, speakers, guests, participants, hosts and sponsors who helped make ICEP 2011 a great success! We hope to see you at ICEP 2012.
‘We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.’
Peter F. Drucker (1909-2005)
The field of education is changing rapidly in many aspects, from greater student diversity, wider access, and novel teaching practices to name but a few. Following on from a highly successful ICEP 2010, where the participants highlighted change in its many forms as one of the greatest challenges that they face, the theme for this year’s conference is The Changing and Evolving Roles of Educators.
Through this theme, this year’s conference seeks to help lecturers in Higher Education address, discuss and understand their roles in recognising, responding to and, in many cases, initiating change.
Call For Papers
The Steering and Organising Committees of the International Conference on Engaging Pedagogy welcome paper submissions for ICEP11. This year’s ICEP will take place at the National College of Ireland on 16 December, 2011. The theme of the conference is The Changing and Evolving Roles of Educators.
